UC Riverside Student Health and Counseling Center (SHCC) provides health care and mental health services to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, including primary care, women's health, pharmacy, and x-ray and lab services. Please visit the patient portal to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment.

Make an appointment for diagnosis and treatment of most acute and chronic disorders, management of injuries, and preventative health services.

Women's Health

Women's Health

At SHS you can get gynecological exams, STI tests, birth control, and other women's health care services from caring and gentle female providers.

Dental Care

Dental Care

Students covered by the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UCSHIP) can get routine exams and cleanings, orthodontia and oral surgery from providers within Delta Dental network.

Vision Care

Vision Care

Students covered by the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UCSHIP) can get vision care from providers within the Blue View Vision Insight network.

Travel Clinic

Travel Clinic

Schedule an appointment in Student Health and Counseling Center, Student Health on the first floor, to get a personalized consultation from our travel nurse at least six to eight weeks before you travel abroad.

Pharmacy

Pharmacy

Pick up prescriptions and over-the-counter medications in-person at the Student Health and Counseling Center (SHCC) pharmacy on the first floor.

Laboratory

Laboratory

Set up an appointment with Student Health and Counseling Center, lab for a variety of tests and screenings, including comprehensive metabolic panels, drug screens, and STI testing.

To set up an appointment with an Student Health and Counseling Center provider, please call, walk-in or visit the patient portal to schedule an appointment during office hours. Cancellations can be made via the patient portal.

After Hours Care

Emergency & After-Hours Care

If you need care when Student Health and Counseling Center is closed, you can contact the nurse line or visit a local facility. For medical emergencies, visit a local ER or dial 911 for immediate help.
